Join professional artists Jenny Muncaster and Rachael Alexander for an inspiring full-day workshop exploring the beauty, energy, and colour of sunflowers through the lens of Van Gogh.

This unique workshop combines the expertise of two accomplished artists, offering the opportunity to develop your observational skills, colour mixing techniques, and compositional understanding in a fun and supportive environment.

The day begins with Jenny Muncaster, whose vibrant approach to colour and expressive mark-making will help you capture the character and movement of sunflowers through loose, playful mixed-media sketches. You'll learn how to observe your subject with fresh eyes and create lively studies full of personality and energy.

In the second session, Rachael Alexander will guide you in transforming your sketches into a small canvas painting inspired by Van Gogh’s iconic sunflower works. Rachael will demonstrate techniques for expressive brushwork, dynamic colour relationships, and creating a sense of movement and vitality within your painting.

Between them, Jenny and Rachael bring more than 30 years of professional artistic experience, with work commissioned for prestigious clients including The Shard, Royal Caribbean, Four Seasons Hotels, and luxury venues around the world.
