The Colour Factory Studios has been a creative hub of Winchester and Hampshire for more than 25 years. As local artists we are passionate about promoting artistic talents in our community. You may have seen our 28 beautiful Artists’ Bollards around the centre of Winchester which help make the city we love so special.

As well as being professional artists we are also educators and committed to sharing our skills and techniques with our community. Our wide range of creative classes have provided huge support for general and mental wellbeing for people of all ages and abilities.

The Colour Factory workshop space provides such a brilliant resource for learning but with the doors closed due to the coronavirus pandemic we are needing to think differently. As full-time professional art teachers, not being able to teach or demonstrate during lockdown has also left us without any income! We love teaching and are committed to both our students and community so we need your help.

We are working hard to facilitate online classes and demonstrations and are planning to host small social-distanced classes as soon as we can. Our artists will also be sharing their professional tips, tricks and ideas via social media for you to create your own artwork and be inspired during these uncertain times.

We need your generous donations to carry on, pay the bills, set up classes, bring art into your homes and create more iconic city artwork. Donations can be made on our Crowdfunder page.

We also need your help to spread the word on social media so make sure you’re following us on Facebook or Instagram and please share our content with your friends – you can use our campaign tag #CarryOnColourFactory.

Thank you for your continued support, we love you all.

Let’s help Winchester carry on through colour and creativity!
