News from Rosie Parmley..

For those of you who don’t follow me, during lockdown I continued all my classes via Zoom. Its been an incredible journey and the results are the one of the surprise gems in this very strange time. My students were stuck in limbo like we all were but they all set up studios from kitchens, front rooms, basements, the deck of a boat, and found their way through the weeks. I began with an inspirational artists and told their story with a video or Power point, then simplified and demonstrated the artist process of making and with peer support, they all tucked in and  buckled down to making art. When it came to the end of the two or three hour Zoom class they didn’t have to stop and most of them carried on working through the day and week. The production of art has gone through the roof and being at home has focused and refined skills. I’m planning an exhibition of the best of this art later in the year and will keep you all posted – we will be in for a treat.

So if you fancy joining an art course that has developed my students into artists please follow me on Instagram for more news, see my website and get in touch.
