An established and popular course with fabulous results! Get in touch with your creative voice in a small and friendly class.  All abilities welcome.                                                                                                                          
In this small and friendly class you will get in touch with your creative side through step by step instructions.  Each term Rosie will guide you step by step through a range of materials and processes from pencils, charcoal to acrylic and oil. She begins with  exercises in mark-making, drawing from observation, perspective, colour theory. During the year the course topics range from  printmaking, portraiture, the still life and painting plein-air. Rosie will give historical context to the technique /artists studied through a Power Point and short film and with exercises in drawing and demonstrations you will be gently led into complete your own art work. This class will build confidence and the ability to observe and record accurately.  This term will be available through a small live Zoom class. You will need a laptop, computer or Ipad device, a sketch book, drawing and painting materials. Once you enrol Rosie will send you a list of materials. Each week Rosie will forward the topic with images and a materials for you to have in readiness for the class. She will test your link to zoom with you prior to class if need be and a link to the live zoom class will be sent on the day of the class. Students join a WhatsApp group to share images of work and support each other through chat and for those included there will be an opportunity to exhibit at TCF Summer Show which Rosie curates. Alternatively book a Taster Day to sample her teaching.

Rosie is a professional artist and a qualified teacher so she knows how to reach to all her students and build confidence. Her courses are popular so book early to avoid disappointment. Rosie featured in episode four of this years Landscape Artist of the Year on Sky Arts.
