During the Hat Fair of 2005, and in association with Winchester City Council, The Colour Factory artists embarked on brightening up the Bollards in the Square, Winchester. They painted various bollards in the style of famous artists. In 2006 a further 5 bollards were painted thanks to sponsorship from Mawson & Company, Duttons, Cadogan & Co and Paul Kinvig.

Community and Educational Projects
The Colour Factory works with all sections of the community, young and old as well as schools and educational groups to provide opportunities for creative activities. Workshops are specifically tailored to individual needs, covering a wide range of media from design and painting to textiles, glass and ceramics.
Our sessions can be arranged for small groups working individually or for a large scale group project. Sessions can be as short as two hours or a whole day or more. The team can either travel to your premises, or for an insight into how a professional artist studio operates we would be delighted to welcome you to the ‘Lightbox’; our purpose built beach garden workshop.
Creative Corporate Workshops
The Colour Factory works with businesses to devise and run creative staff development activities that encourage a fun and thoughtful, alternative approach to team building.
We organise creative events for companies with special ‘Colour Factory’ flair whether an open evening for prospective clients to try their hand at being artistic or a large scale event for the whole of your group.
Among our many projects The Colour Factory ran a team building arts workshop for 250 members of staff from The Exclusive Hotel chain. In one day nine beautiful six foot canvases were created by employees from all sections of the company. These canvases now adorn the walls of each hotel.
